Cookie Policy
How cookies, browser storage and optional technologies work on the Pyramids Transfer website.
Last updated: 6 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Pyramids Transfer uses cookies, local storage, session storage and related third-party technologies on pyramids-transfer-msa.com.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored by a website or service in a browser. Cookies can support secure sign-in, remember a preference, maintain a session, measure website use or support an external feature. Similar browser technologies include local storage and session storage.
How we use these technologies
Pyramids Transfer uses browser storage and third-party technologies to keep accounts and checkout working, remember preferences such as currency and theme, display maps, support Google Sign-In, process PayPal payments and, with permission, understand use of the public website.
Your choices
The website provides equally usable controls to accept optional Analytics, reject non-essential technologies or manage preferences. Necessary functions continue without optional consent. Optional choices start off, are not preselected, remain versioned for 180 days unless changed or cleared, and can be reopened from Cookie settings in the Footer.
Withdrawing Analytics consent stops later analytics calls from this application and removes applicable first-party Analytics cookies. Blocking all browser storage may sign the customer out, remove preferences, clear a booking draft or prevent a requested feature from working.
Cookie and storage categories
Necessary technologies support sign-in, security, payment continuity and requested functions. Functional storage remembers preferences and booking progress. Analytics is optional and starts only after permission is given.
Local storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| public.currency | Remembers the currency selected for estimated price display. | Until changed or site data is cleared. |
| public.currency-policy-revision | Keeps the saved currency choice compatible with the available options. | Until updated or site data is cleared. |
| theme | Remembers light, dark or system appearance. | Until changed or site data is cleared. |
| pyramids.public-contacts.revision.v1 | Keeps published contact and social information synchronized across open tabs. | Until updated or site data is cleared. |
| pyramids.cookie-consent.v1 | Remembers the Analytics choice. | 180 days, or until changed, the Policy changes or site data is cleared. |
Session storage
Session storage temporarily remembers search and booking choices such as locations, vehicle, dates, times, return details, number of people, duration and checkout progress.
A checkout draft may include contact and service information entered by the customer and remains for up to two hours. It may be removed earlier when checkout is completed, expires or the browser session ends.
PayPal
PayPal web checkout is loaded when PayPal is an available method and its component is displayed. PayPal may use its own cookies or storage for login, device recognition, payment, security, fraud prevention, analytics and experience settings. PayPal controls the names and lifetimes of those technologies.
Google Maps
Google Maps technologies support place search, addresses, coordinates, route calculation and map display. When those features are requested, Google may receive page-request, IP, browser, device, search, place and route information and may use its own related technologies.
Google Sign-In
Google Identity Services is loaded where Google Sign-In is offered. If selected, Google uses its own technologies to authenticate the account and return the limited identity information needed for sign-in.
Google Analytics
If you allow optional Analytics cookies, Google Analytics may help us understand how visitors use the public website so we can improve it. Google Analytics does not start before you give permission.
Analytics does not include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, customer notes, precise pickup addresses or account identifiers. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the Footer.
When a choice cannot be saved
If the browser cannot save your choice, optional Analytics remains off and you may be asked to choose again later. You may also be asked again when the saved choice expires or this Policy changes.
Third-party information
PayPal and Google control their own technologies and data practices. Review the privacy and cookie information they provide for details of their processing and controls.
Changes to this Policy
This Policy is updated when implemented website storage, payment, map, login or Analytics technology changes. The current version and update date will be published.
